What kind of mind do you have?

If you could have anything different in your health, what would it be?

  • lose weight

  • be comfortable in your body

  • build more muscle

  • be more fit

  • control your sweet cravings

  • stop eating those foods when you’re sad, mad, or angry

  • have ease when deciding what to eat

  • move your body more…

Why do you think this hasn't happened yet?


...Shhhhh...get quiet and listen...what do you hear?


Is it something like:

  • You're too lazy

  • You won't be able to maintain it so why try

  • It's too hard

  • There's something wrong with me

  • Why does it seem easy for everyone else, but not me

  • You don't deserve this

  • You're inadequate

  • You're not worthy of receiving something good in my life

  • I'm afraid if I try I won't see any results

These may not be the exact sentences you hear, but I know your brain has a critical voice, we all have a voice telling us words to stop us from what we truly want.


All I know is that it seems REAL and like the absolute truth. We can find every piece of evidence to show everyone that it's true.


I know this voice so well and it's so believable.


When I learned that these voices are NOT the truth, but only programs that are running in the background to PROTECT us from danger...


because...REMEMBER, our brain does't know the difference between real and perceived threats...


It was a GAME CHANGER.


This is why I focus a lot on mindset in my coaching program.


Because if you focus solely on losing weight or stopping the sugar addiction with diet or food recommendations, you are not changing the core reason of why weight gain or sugar addiction has been a problem in the first place.


We have to address all the thoughts and beliefs that we have running in the background that you don’t even know are happening.


Where do these thoughts come from? Where are they stored?


These thoughts and beliefs are learned. They come from all the other people in our lives, the world, our history starting from in the womb....


And they get stored in our subconscious mind.


And the reason change can be so hard is that we spend 95% of our day operating from our subconscious mind.


Our subconscious mind is the part of our brain that runs on programs, conditions, and habits.


“Good” habits or “bad” habits, both are stored here.


That means only 5% of the day were operating from our conscious mind. From Awareness. From our creative mind.


So, we need to get those programs that have been ingrained so deeply to ones that are supportive of our dreams and goals not ones that:

  • Limit us

  • Cast doubt

  • Keep us skeptical of the world

  • Tell us we won’t be able to because we’ve already tried everything

  • Tell us we’re not good enough

  • Tell us it runs in my family, I'm doomed to have 'xyz' condition

  • Tell us we’re inadequate

  • Tell us we’re unlovable

  • Tell us we don’t know how

  • Tell us we would like to, but it’s just not for us

  • Tell ourselves we don’t really care anyway

These are BIG FAT lies.


But, why are these thoughts and beliefs so hard to change on our own?


Well let me explain it this way, because when I heard it like this it made complete sense...


...have you known someone who acts like their parents, and everyone can see it but them? And, the last thing we want to be told is that we are acting like our parents...And most likely they said (with a tone), "NO I'M NOT!"


Do you know what I'm talking about?


Do you know that person?


The truth is, we are all that person.


As much as we may like this or not, it’s our conditioned programming…


And if you don’t know it’s there, how can you change it?


This is why we ALL need someone to help us make these changes.


If your subconscious mind isn’t supporting you, your results/symptoms won’t support you either.


And, vice versa...


If your results/symptoms aren’t supporting you or ones that you want, your subconscious mind, the one that runs 95% of your day, isn’t supporting you either.

HEALTHFUL TIP


A simple breakfast recipe: Egg scramble with fruit


Complex carb: Saute (in avocado oil/ghee/olive oil) at least 2 fist-sizes of veggies: zucchini, broccoli, spinach, mushrooms, asparagus, etc. CHOOSE YOUR FAVS!

Protein: Add your eggs: 2-4 depending on your health goals.

Healthy fat: Top with yummy avocado

Bonus Carb: Side of Fruit - berries provide lots of quality nutrients, but a banana is also good option too. Bananas are higher in glucose, so if trying to lose weight choose berries as a more healthful option.


Top with salsa if you desire and enjoy with a nice cup o' joe!


BOOM! You've just provided your amazing body with a nutrient dense meal and it loves you for it!!!
